Passionate Ranbir-anushka Kiss Chopped: Bombay Velvet Gets U/a
Anurag Kashyap is heaving a sigh of relief. Censor Board's Revising Committee has granted a U/A certificate to his film Bombvay Velvet which hits the theatres on  May 15.


 
The certification exercise was completed at NFDC theatre in Worli at 3 pm, today.
 
SpotboyE.com has it that a very intimate liplock between Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma has been eliminated.. 
 
On May 2, we brought you the news that the Censor Board had refused to look beyond an 'A' certificate for the film. The Censor Board had then objected to usage of words like 'son of a bit** and hara****a.inthe film. Says a source, "Those two words have also been eliminated.".
 
And what about the Censor Board's perception then that the film is very heavy on crime, we asked? Says the source, "The Revising Committee gave a patient ear to Anurag today and understood his perspective in this regard."
 
You can bet the shirt off your back that 'A' certificate was the last thing that Kashyap wanted on his extravagant film, which he wants people to see in large numbers in the theatres.
